Dave is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Sex Therapist with 20 years of experience, devoted to integrating faith and psychology to create healing spaces for those in need. Called to address profound traumatic suffering and enslaving addictions, Dave specializes in helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of the traumatic impact on intimacy, sexuality, and relationships through a Christ-centered lens. With a Doctorate in Spiritual Direction and Formation and a Master’s in Professional Counseling, Dave combines his expertise in trauma therapy, Gestalt therapy, and spiritual formation to address deep wounds holistically. As the developer of the SIIMDA Soul Care model, he equips others to carry out Jesus’ healing ministry and leads retreats where participants encounter God’s transformative power. A published author in the APA Psychotherapy Journal and contributor to the Handbook of Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapies, Dave’s passion is to see individuals experience freedom and restoration in their sexuality and spiritual lives, grounded in the healing power of Jesus.
